How it works

A rally, not a race.

The Kata Rocks Poker Run returns for its seventh edition on Saturday 19 December. Rally with your crew circumnavigating the island of Phuket, collect a card at each of five stops, and cruise home with the sunset to Kata Rocks for a bonus card. The best five cards from six take the trophy, the fastest boat takes the bragging rights, and everyone takes home the stories.

Rally round the island

Set off from Kata Rocks at 13:00 and circumnavigate the island of Phuket via five stops. Your pace, your route between them.

Collect six cards

Pick up one card at each of five stops, from Yona Beach Club to Banana Beach, plus a bonus card back at Kata Rocks.

Best hand wins

Your best five cards from six make your hand. The best hand takes the trophy; the fastest time takes the bragging rights.
