On Sunday, 11 December 2022, the 3rd edition of the Kata Rocks Poker Run saw crews cruise clockwise around Phuket in a day full of thrill and camaraderie.
Starting from Kata Rocks, participating boats collected a card at each stop — Xana Beach Club, The PlayYard, Koh Rang Noi, and Banana Beach, before returning to Kata Rocks for the final card. There, teams were greeted with KRPR t-shirts, ice-cold beers, and a sunset BBQ to toast the day.
KRPR 2022 blended fun, competition, and spectacular scenery into a one-of-a-kind island adventure.
Many thanks to all participants in the third edition of the Kata Rocks Poker Run (KRPR) for making this yet again a successful event and a great experience for all involved!
The prize winners were the boats with the best Poker hand. This year they were:
3rd Place – “KR Charter” who gets to enjoy a nice dinner voucher for the Atoll Floating Restaurant at Angsana
2nd Place – Richard Pope in “Ninja 1” who gets to spend a night at The Playyard’s unique resort (and 2nd Card Pickup location)
1st Place – Alex & Ian Hewett in “Noh Rules” who will have his name added to the Kata Rocks Poker Run Perpetual Trophy as well as getting a 2 nights stay at the KRPR 2022 host venue, Kata Rocks.
